How would you describe your personality in three words?
Crazy, Talkative, Outgoing
What part of hairdressing do you enjoy the most and why?”
Thats a tricky one as I love every aspect of hairdressing, but I have to say the end result. Blowdrying the finished colour or cut, I feel like thats when the client gets that big glossy eyed moment and wow my hair is amazing, it just seeing the reaction to all my hours of work. Thats the best part for me.
What is your proudest moment as a hairdresser so far?
Coming from knowing nothing about hairdressing 6 years ago to falling into my apprenticeship, going from the beginning to now being a senior stylist. In that time i have done amazing work with Michael Kelly, great courses, balayages all colours and cuts. I dedicated everything I had to my hairdressing career to be the best that I could be. To achieve that in the time that I have, I am pretty proud.
What is your favourite hair product to use and why?
Rich Repair 6 Effects serum. I don’t do anything without it, it’s your 6 in 1 so it’s a heat protectant, smooths the hair etc but most importantly it repairs. Which is inevitably what is going to make your hair feel amazing when it’s healthy and in a great condition.

“I enjoy seeing the end result of big changes and transformations. Can be anything: colour, cuts or styles!”
What is your proudest moment as a hairdresser so far?
“When I did an onstage show for Goldwell called Rising Stars. It was when I was an apprentice: 4 people from NSW got chosen to put on a show of their work for people to come and watch.”
What is your favourite hair product to use and why?
“I like hair treatments because they can actually change your life. It’s hard to choose a specific one, but there is something for everyone”

What part of hairdressing do you enjoy the most and why?
“I like building relationships with people and knowing that I’m helping them to feel great about themselves. I love that I get to see people every 6-8 weeks, and feel like I know their family and friends from their updates.”
What is your proudest moment as a hairdresser so far?
“I love training our apprentices, and I feel proudest when I’m passing on knowledge and helping them become great hairdressers in Manly.”
What is your favourite hair product to use and why?
“I have a few I can’t live without. The Goldwell Dualsenses Rich Repair 6 Effects Serum: it’s the perfect product for brittle, damaged or dry hair; you can’t overuse it, it makes your hair feel super soft and protects it from the heat. And the KMS Makeover Dry Shampoo Spray: I don’t like washing my hair (sorry), so dry shampoo is essential for me; plus, in a fresh layer it adds lots of body and texture.”

“I love that at the end of every service, a client will leave the salon feeling much better than when they walked in, because of what we do to their hair. Having someone appreciate you and your hard work is the most rewarding outcome.”

“When I picked up my apprenticeship, after feeling as if I’d failed. I rediscovered my passion for hair with the most amazing team I’ve ever met, and will continue to never give up.”

What part of working in the salon do you enjoy the most?
“Two things. 1) Working with my best friends. It’s so rare to find a job that never feels like you’re going to work. Being around positive people is a blessing. 2) I love learning new things. Being taught how to apply colour or do a bouncy blow-dry is exhilarating (for me at least – haha)!”
What is your proudest moment as a hairdresser so far?
“When I started, my first proper client called up and asked for me to do her hair again. Made me feel confident and pleased to know I had made someone happy.”

“Goldwell Dualsenses Bond Pro Serum. I can’t stop using it. You only need a pea size and it combs out your hair so easily – making it smooth until the next wash.”
